Here are a few events Tidewater Literacy has organized
over the years:
Admirals Night For Literacy
The Hampton Roads Admirals and Tidewater Literacy team up each year at
a local restaurant to offer their support for Literacy. The Admirals mingle
with hockey fans, sign autographs,and pose for photographs.
 
TLC Walk-A-Thon
The first annual Tidewater Literacy Walk-A-Thon was a huge success. Walkers
got a good look at Olde Towne Portsmouth, while their sponsors supported
Literacy with generous contributions.
 
Dollar Tree Tennis Tournament
TLC's biggest single fundraising event. "Raise a Racquet for Reading"
raised awareness and money for literacy. Thanks to all of our sponsors
and partcipants.
